Linux System Administrator

Circa £26k-£30k Depending on experience.
We are looking for a Linux System Administrator / Technical Support Analyst with at least 2 years experience and a passion for technology to join a great team and put their own stamp on this role. 
Agathos systems is based in Nottingham, and has been providing software and hardware solutions to the electrical industry for over 40 years. Working with independent clients large and small, we provide a total solution technology platform for wholesalers and distribution companies across the UK. The company is continuing to grow, is solid financially and has a good reputation within the industry.  
You will work in a small team and manage you own workload, report directly in to the General Manager. The team delivers support to our customers across the UK. We ensure that everything is in place to allow our application to work for our customers. This can involve set-up and managing the server and network to integrating with existing providers and 3rdparties. 
You will be responsible for all day to day systems administration tasks of the local server environment, and 2ndand 3rdlevel technical support for remote customers. You will resolve technical issues / tickets, solve problems, deal with incidents and ensure that the systems are secure and reliable. You will also design / implement / deploy new technologies. 
Principal duties will include systems install, config and support, system monitoring, systems administration, back-ups and disaster recovery, problem diagnosis and resolution to 3rd line level. Virus protection and security - the list goes on!!!!!
We are looking for an IT professional who has experience of the following:
·     Linux system administration
·     Familiarity of core tools such as SSH, BASH, 
·     Networking, including WAN, SMTP, DNS
·     Ability to document procedures
Desirable skills include:
·     VMWare
·     Veeam 
·     Scripting skills (Bash, Perl, Python)
·     Deployment tools eg. Ansible
·     Monitoring tools eg. Nagios
